Mr. Onise Ugrekhelidze made a heartfelt journey back to his ancestral lands in the village of Okureshi with a mission to restore the family vineyard and rekindle its wine production. Initially, the vineyard held a modest 500 Usakhelouri vines. Yet, with unwavering dedication and persistent efforts, he expanded it to an impressive 8,000 vines. This accomplishment is particularly commendable given the economic challenges that the country faced during this period.

Despite limited resources, Mr. Onise Ugrekhelidze has impressively brought to life four distinct wine products. Not content to rest on his laurels, he's ardently working to boost production and is actively exploring avenues for exporting. His drive isn't solely rooted in commerce, however. At the heart of his endeavors lies a profound desire to share and showcase the rich heritage of Lechkhumi through the medium of wine, ensuring that the world gets a taste of its deep-rooted traditions and cultural significance.
